As the Director of Compliance Legal, Tony is an industry recognised expert in obtaining approval for the recognition of sole practitioners, recognised bodies and alternative business structures. He provids clients with practical, workable solutions and consistently exceeds expectations.

Our Story
Tony Kang is the Director of Compliance Legal and a qualified solicitor (non-practising) with over 20 years’ experience in professional regulation and risk management. Whilst working with the SRA, Tony was a market leader in authorising and approving over 500 firm based and individual applications from the regulated and non-regulated community.
It was here that Tony identified a need for a solution that would better serve firms and individuals with the recognition of new business models, innovation of existing entities and ongoing risk compliance support. Tony found that some of the challenges his clients faced was a reluctance to fully embrace risk management techniques as well as a lack of comprehensive management experience and business acumen. As a result, Tony launched Compliance Legal as a risk management and business development consultancy.
As the Director of Compliance Legal, Tony is an industry recognised expert in obtaining approval for the recognition of sole practitioners, recognised bodies and alternative business structures. Tony has provided clients with practical, workable solutions and consistently exceeded their expectations.
His clients have ranged from small High Street practices to large corporate powerhouses. Tony’s knowledge of regulatory matters, ability to grasp issues and provide practical, workable solutions has often been commended by his clients.
Monica, our Operations Director, joined Compliance Legal with a wealth of experience working within the HR space. It’s her experience within varied industries that makes her a great asset to the business.
Monica is responsible for operational delivery, client engagement and developing our internal systems and processes. Due to her background in managing and presenting to a variety of stakeholders, she’s also in charge of creating and implementing training for our client base.
